May Gladys Daniels [15884] 189
- Born: 12 May 1892, Whitstable, Kent 189
- Died: 1992, Hampstead, London aged 100 189
 General Notes:
May married a German national named Werner about 1912, but he returned to Germany circa 1914 supposedly to join his countries armed forces. According to cousin Douglas Daniels, May would journey to the German Embassy with baby Robert in order to receive an allowance for British subjects who were entitled to payments to support due to marriage and resulting family dependents. Douglas remembers May saying how she took Bobby along to the Embassy dressed in a sailor suit which evoked comments from the German official about the child's uniform being that of the opposing navy! 189
