From Kent Records - Cinque Ports General Brotherhood held at New Romney on 21/7/1812 Henry Tritton represents Hythe a "Finnis jurats" and is appointed to inspect the records together with the clerks and Mr. Fawle - solicitor. A schedule tp be made and copied with the proceedings of one guinea a copy. Also (he is) appointed in the committee to audit bills and consider grievances. From Kentish Gazette 3rd April 1827 "Died at Hythe Henry Tritton Esq. aged 86 years senior resident Jurat of that town and port"
