Married George (IV) MAY in Saint Peter's Church of England Church, Broken Hill, NSW, on 1 April 1901. Officiating Minister was the Rev. B.H. WHEELER. They resided first at Broken Hill, then to Ashfield, Croydon, Burwood and finally Auburn, all in NSW.

Family:
They had six sons and two daughters - Arthur George James, Samuel Leslie, Herbert Frederick Edward, Pearl Irene , Stanley Stephen Victor, William, Melville Clarence and Margaret Joan.

Occupation, Sport and Activities:
No information other than domestic.

Physical:
An attractive, short in statue and well proportioned woman.

General:
Nessie was a very loving and dedicated wife and mother. As with her husband George, she was disciplined and religious.

Death:
She died at home (Auburn, NSW) in September 1951, and in attendance was her husband and family including some grandchildren. She was buried on 13 September 1951 in the Anglican Section of Rookwood Cemetery NSW, and interned in Section 12, Grave No 3510 beside her son Samuel Leslie MAY. Her husband, George, was later buried in the same grave site.
